Fantastic

Well drawn, addictive and fun.

The only problem I'm having is the same as other reviews below, it won't recognise that I got most of the medals, only one of them registered :/

Aye, it's pretty decent.

I'll admit that I sat here and played it for *looks at the clock* about an hour, actually. XD

The one criticism I do have is that it lacks variety, if you're going to make a game this long you really need to have levels where you're doing stuff other than just shooting. In the end I didn't really use anything apart from the regular bullets and the saw and I got along just fine with that.

But yeah, keep up the good work and I'll look forward to your next release!

8/10 (would have been seven but you get an extra point for the music ;) )

Simplicity is key

Simple, elegant, and the music fits perfectly.

Easy to play but hard to master, also a little frustrating when you crash, but that's just part of the fun, isn't it?

One thing I would suggest for a sequel is checkpoints though - that would eliminate some of the frustration >_<

This is by far my favourite game on NG, it's been in my favourites for ages, only just got around to reviewing it.

Keep up the good work, sir!

Pretty good

Challenging at first, but a lot of fun once you get into it.

A tip for first timers: The weapons seem expensive, but if you survive the first few rounds, they're not that bad.

It gets a bit repetitive after a while, and too easy once you unlock it, I got bored eventually - but it's a good time waster for a little while.

66275 - beat it!

Very good fun

I've always been a fan of the original defend your castle, this is a great addition to the series.

Gameplay is pretty much flawless, and the gore is very satisfying ; )

A couple of issues with the programming though, sometimes when you pause, one or two villagers will keep moving, and escape (not normally a problem with pit traps, but annoying nonetheless)

The second is that when you get to level 50, it counts up the money earned and your stats, but then freezes and won't let you continue, I'm pretty sure this isn't just me, I've noticed it mentioned in a couple of other reviews.

Fix these, and you'll have a perfect game on your hands.

Good luck with future submissions!

Potentially a great idea, but...

The ingenious game system is held back by buggy controls and programming.

The control system would be good, and gameplay becomes easier within a few minutes of play, but pieces move eratticaly or not at all, making it difficult to play on the whole.

Work on the programming, then we'll talk - but at the moment it's a wonderful idea with a questionable execution.

Good

Outstanding for a flash fps, although Freedom of movement was a bit limited, maybe a strafe function for the next? (if any)

Also, taking cover was a bit vague, I found that turning away from the boss was the only real way to do so, which meant it was more an attack-recharge thing, not very tactical tbh.

The music was good, gameplay was passable, and the concept was brilliant.

More, please!

Incredible.

Intuitive, puzzling, elegant.

The score says it all, open mindedness is the key, people are afraid of what they don't understand ; )

I liked the layout of the game, the story - although admittedly vague - was enough to keep me playing, and the music was enchating.

This is about as close to perfect as it's possble to get as far as flash isn't concerned.

Couple of issues with lagging, but I reckon that's probably just my computer,

I look forward to seeing more similar titles from you, sire!

"Obey this, you twat!"

alot of these reviewers have no taste : )

I liked it, had a nice feel to it, almost like a dungeonhack game.

A couple of things I would suggest though:

Randomly generated maps were a nice feature, but more variety would be nice, also - enemy movements were very unpredictable at times, if anything, the movement should be slightly more linear, with direction changes causing you to instantly change direction a-la-zelda, the same for when enemies are knocked back. Also, more enemies would be nice, the 3 types got a bit boring after a while.

Extra weapons, a currency with upgrades to buy, MUSIC, and overall more variety in the randomly generated maps would make this game near-perfect, it's a very good attempt as it is though, keep up the good work!

We're all going home in a fucking ambulance.
